This Christmas my husband kept asking what do you want, what do you want and honestly nothing came to mind. Until omg let him just get me all the things people in the beauty industry (blogs, articles, annoying INSTA Ads) have been raving or trying to get me to buy subconsciously. No big ticket items but fun little beauty tools that are here to make your life easier or just add more to the pile of useless cosas(things) drawer.
First item up to bat: Toullgo: Heated Eyelash Curler $25.99 on Amazon.
I was pretty skeptical about have a heated eyelash curling iron right next to my eyeball. I guess if Madonna can rock an eye patch maybe it be can a trend in 2020. BUT it was really pretty easy!
Step 1: put mascara on eyelashes
- Im using theses days Bestidy: 4D Silk Fiber Lash Mascara $12.99 Amazon. Which I like because it gives good lift and length with out using a regular eyelash curler( Mom life, no time for an eyelash curl). Also doesn't smudge or flake after a long day or night. P.S. also one of those stocking stuffer goodies I asked for :)
Step 2: Heat up said heated curler for maximum 20 seconds, for optimal curl.
Step 3: Pray I don't burn my eyelashes off
Step 4: Better to hold eyelid up, for a bit of support( also pulls the lid away from the eyeball) and curl section by section. Going back over middle section once more for good effect.
- I felt the heat good enough that I could tell not to get it too close, but fool proof application.
- Quick process if product is preheated!
Review: I would definitely use in replace of Lash Perms. Which are usually $75+ and last up to a 4-6 weeks. But the annoying thing with Perms are the chemicals( what is in it?) and when new lashes grow out they are wavy and a feel they are not as strong a lash as once before. Last long on the curl and also kind of smooths out clumps in your mascara which is a huge plus. All in all MY new favorite toy! Will definitely add this to my date nights and special events. Heck maybe even School days.
