It's ok to take a break.

Hi,
Back in the saddle again after feeling a bit better after catching body aches and uncontrollable coughing attacks, still coughing but its not constant. Something is definitely going around in Houston. No fever, no runny nose just a coughing 🤷🏻♀️. Like having bad allergies or pollution lungs (what I recall getting on my travels in Indonesia once-the Hotel's DR prognosis) my lungs felt terribly congested. Started to get sick last Thursday and I like to see if it leaves on its own but in my case it just kept getting worse.
I proudly stuck to my routine , easy enough as my husband quarantined me from the kids and the rest of the house and help me get the much need rest, I needed to recover. Even though I felt awful and wanted to stay in bed and never leave....my skin routine was my motivation to hop out of bed for a good cleaning, Honestly it was the highlight, it made me feel clean, rejuvenated and I think it helped in the recovery.
Im definitely not suggesting skipping a drs visit because I eventually went on Wednesday, coughing was keep me and my husband up all night (not fair to him bc he was pulling double shifts with the kids) and I felt like I need more than over the counter meds and the cool mist humidifier. But the masking, the am & pm routines lifted me up out of the coals each time I forced my self to get up and do it.. no regrets! Liked the energy it gave me to feel little better.
If you forget to do a routine because your sick as a dog or just tired (lazy in my case) don't fault yourself we all have to stop and take a break. It's getting back up that counts, really that's just all the motivation you need to try again.
